Policies and Codes of Conduct

The objective of Code of Conduct is to promote an environment that is both healthy and conducive to personal development of each individual practicing canoe/kayak, both on and off the water.

It governs the relationship between the stakeholders involved in this sport. Without being exhaustive, it allows the Board of the Burnaby Canoe and Kayak Club to uniformly and objectively apply standards of conduct for all, and sanction misconduct if it occurs.

Paddlers, parents, coaches and administrators of the Burnaby Canoe and Kayak Club have the responsibility to ensure compliance with this Code.
