War Canoe is a uniquely Canadian boat, which holds 15 paddlers and has great history within this country. The War Canoe Program is designed to teach the skills of War Canoe while increasing fitness and developing a positive team environment. The BCKC Masters War Canoe Team will be racing against other clubs from across Canada at CANMAS in Ottawa on August 26, 2007 . While people ages 18-24 can participate in the program over the summer, those going to CANMAS must be 25 years old as of August 26, 2007 to qualify as a Master for the CANMAS regatta.
