What is CanoeKids?

The nationally recognized CanoeKids Summer Camp program is a great place for children 8 years and older to learn fundamental canoe and kayak skills and to encourage a lifelong interest in paddling. 

CanoeKids camps are designed to:

• Be fun!
• Help children develop water safety awareness and skills.
• Help children develop confidence on the water.
• Provide children an opportunity to paddle and socialize with their friends in a team environment.
• Build overall motor skills.
• Campers develop water safety awareness and paddling skills throughout the week, while increasing their confidence on the water. 

Part of the experience includes an introduction to canoe and kayak, on-land active games, crafts, and discovery time led by National Coaches Certification Program (NCCP) trained staff.

No paddling experience required!
